Oregon State hires bee specialist to investigate hive collapse

Oregon State University has hired a honey bee specialist to help Northwest farmers avoid the the baffling collapse of bee colonies that has struck other agricultural areas. Ramesh Sagili, who holds degrees from an India agricultural university and a doctorate in entomology from Texas A&M University, will begin work in Corvallis Feb. 27.
