Hi, I am starting with beekeeping, and wondered if I should want to start a bee farm in Namibia, if it would be welcomed. And where should I start, who can help me find some land to buy?

  2. eivindm says:

I’m sorry, but I live in Norway and am not the best to ask about beekeeping in a very different environment. The best thing would be to get in touch with Namibian beekeepers and ask them for advice. Good look with your project! :-)

  3. Tamen says:

hi am Tamen, from namibia. l want to start bee farming as a hobby, i was wandering, whether you guys can help me? e.g. where can i get the bees in namibia, or do i have to import them from another country?

  4. Dr. Baby says:

    Hi Jaco and Tamen,

Im a state veterinarian in Namibia who attended a course on honeybee disease. The workshop piqued my interest more in bee keeping. I was suprised that the other SADC countries progress so much in this field but not Namibia. From the workshop, we are suppose to do a surveillance about where bee farmers are in Namibia. Is it possible for you to please tell me about your progress?
