Utah sees big decline in it honeybee count

Like bees in 34 other U.S. states, Utah’s bees are suffering from colony collapse disorder, a mysterious disease that scientists can’t pinpoint. The disorder is so named because it is detected when adult bees abandon their hives. It was first detected along the East Coast in 2006 and has led to the loss of millions of bees nationwide.
